We’re holding another one of our monthly “Techday” events this week. We organize techdays because we like to stay sharp and have some fun in the process (Check out our previous blog post about why we do techdays).
The Play framework makes it easier to build web applications with Java & Scala.
Play is based on a lightweight, stateless, web-friendly architecture and features predictable and minimal resource consumption (CPU, memory, threads) for highly-scalable applications – thanks to its reactive model, based on Iteratee IO.
It’s always a good idea to prepare a bit in advance for the techday. You can follow these instructions to install PlayFramework 2.0 and get a good head start with the hands-on session.
Interested in joining us? Sent an email to firstname.lastname@example.org. A summary of the techday will be posted here next week.
